Dawn King aka “Neshephah”  resides in Hawthorne, CA. She has successfully raised 3 children as a single mother, and is “Luvvy”, a proud grandmother of eight. She has used her writing as therapy to overcome the trauma of a violent marriage to an addicted crack user, childhood molestation, and issues with low self-esteem.

Neshephah has served as mentor to young girls and women who have had similar life-altering events. Finally realizing that “what has happened in my life, did not just happen ‘to’ me, but ‘for’ me,” she prayerfully hopes this forum will evolve as a way to connect with those in need of release from unexplored pain.

Neshephah currently attends New Life Christian Center, in Los Angeles.

  1. I am proud of you, Neshephah. The pen is the mightiest force on Earth, the military notwithstanding. You will anger some and encourage others by what you write. Don’t try to placate everyone. It’s not possible. As a 40-year professional journalist/author/creative writer, I’ve learned to write my conscience. That’s where truth is. Choose your words carefully, as they are ore powerful than bullets.

    Enjoy the journey.
